I was yelled at, swore at and called profane names by a complete stranger the other day.
Why? …
Because I stopped to make sure that all of the children that got off of a school bus had safely crossed the street.
I was dumbfounded.
On so many levels this behaviour baffles me.
Was this man in such a hurry that those extra 20 seconds were going to change his life?
Is he so important that the death of a nation rests upon his shoulders?
Is he that entitled that he feels no one else has the right to be on the same road as him?
How does someone become such an angry individual?
What man yells profanities and calls a woman names like that?
What man treats another man’s wife that way?
What man yells at a child’s mother like that?
It is in the news more and more. Men punching women in the face, men physically and verbally abusing women.
What is happening?

Men are supposed to honour and uphold women, and women are supposed to honour and respect men.

If you know a man like this, I would ask you to help him. Help him find his way back from the violence and hatred, even if that requires calling the police and reporting him.
I did.
I pray he finds the help he needs to live a happier life.
